Glenn Defebaugh and Jonathan Barton met in 1999 when a mutual friend suggested to Glenn that he call Jonathan to play bass for "Delta Cat" on some performances in the Reno Tahoe area.  Since then these two have become great friends and collaborators on many different music performances. The newest offering of their talents is simply called,
"Glenn & J.B.".  An evening of music with just the two of them, trading off lead vocals, sharing harmonies, and switching instruments between guitars, bass, accordion, and harmonica. The idea of the act was to create a show utilizing acoustic instruments that did not require amplification, so as to be able to play venues that electricity was either not available or preferred. This act can pick up at a moments notice and move from one room to another, from outside to inside, or from a party on a boat onto the shore. 
     With over 50 years of performing experience between them, they also decided to make available and include their electric music consisting of classic rock, country, and blues for people who may want only a small act but would appreciate the electronic percussion and instruments that promote more of a dance atmosphere. 
     Acoustic, Classic Rock, Country, or Blues. You tell Glenn & J.B. what your event requires and they can make it happen.  Watch out Batman and Robin There's a new "Dynamic Duo" in town!
