1. From the Start menu, left-click Programs
Outlook Express. Or, open Internet Explorer and click Mail Read Mail.If this is the first time youve opened the program, an Internet Connection Wizard will appear prompting you for your email information.
If the wizard does not appear automatically, left-click Tools from the menu at the top of the screen, left-click Accounts, click on the Mail tab. Click Add Mail.
2. The first box asks for Your Name. Enter your full name. Left-click Next.
3. Enter your email address. This is printed at the top of your InterComm receipt. If you do not have your original paperwork, enter the email address in the following form: username@775.net ("username" is the 3-8 letter name you chose when signing up.)
Click Next. Choose POP3 from the drop-down menu. For both the Incoming and Outgoing Mail fields, enter 775.net
Left-click Next. Enter your Full email address where it says "POP account name."
Enter your password. Click Next.
Next is Friendly Name. You can leave it as 775.net or rename it if you would like. Click Next.
7. Choose the appropriate connection method. If you are using a modem, choose Connect using my phone line. Click Next.
Select Use an existing dial-up connection. Click Next. (If InterComm is not listed, refer to your installation instructions for Making a Dial-Up networking connection to InterComm.)
8. Click Finish to complete the setup.
To Receive your Email: Outlook Express should automatically download your mail when you first open the program. If not, left-click Send and Receive to begin receiving your messages. You must be connected to InterComm before you are able to download your mail.
To Send an Email: select Compose Message from the top of the screen. Enter the appropriate email address and compose the message. To send, click Send.
